CutMath Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 2, 2026
This policy explains what information the CutMath app and the cutmath.app website handle. CutMath is published by CutMath ("we", "us"). Questions: hello@cutmath.app.
The short version: the CutMath app does not collect any personal information. There are no accounts, analytics or tracking. The website doesn't track you either. We only receive information you choose to send us, like a message through our contact form.
01The CutMath app
- No data collection. The app does not collect, transmit or share personal information, usage data, diagnostics or identifiers. It contains no analytics or tracking code.
- Your calculations stay on your device. Your History, cut lists and settings are stored only on your device. If you use iCloud Backup, they're included in your device backup, which Apple manages under its own privacy policy. Deleting the app deletes them from your device.
- Purchases. CutMath Pro is purchased through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never receive your payment details, name or Apple Account information. The app checks with Apple whether Pro has been purchased on your Apple Account.
- Network use. The app does not send data to us or to any third party. The only network activity is Apple's App Store services for purchases and restoring purchases.
02The cutmath.app website
- No cookies or tracking. The website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
- Hosting. The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web server, Netlify processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. We don't use this information to identify or track you. See Netlify's privacy policy.
- Google Search Console. We use Google Search Console to understand how the site appears in Google Search results. It provides us with aggregated search data from Google. It does not place cookies or run any code on our pages.
- Contact form. If you contact us through the form on our Support page, we receive the name, email address and message you enter. The form is processed by a third-party form and email service provider, which delivers it to our inbox. We use this information only to reply to you, and we don't add you to any mailing list. We keep messages only as long as needed to help you, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. You can also simply email hello@cutmath.app.
03What we don't do
We don't sell or rent personal information or build profiles about you.
04Children
CutMath is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13. If a child has sent us a message through the contact form and a parent would like it deleted, email us and we'll delete it.
05Your choices and rights
Because the app collects nothing, there is no app data for us to access, correct or delete; your History is under your control on your device (use Clear in the app, or delete the app). For contact-form messages, email hello@cutmath.app to ask what we hold or to have it deleted. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or California law), you may have additional rights; we'll honor applicable requests.
06Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
