CutMath Terms of Use
Effective date: October 2, 2026
These terms apply to the CutMath app and the cutmath.app website, published by CutMath ("we", "us"). By using them, you agree to these terms.
01The app license
CutMath is distributed through Apple's App Store and licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"), together with these terms. If these terms conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls for the app. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, maintenance, support or warranty.
02CutMath Pro
CutMath Pro is an optional one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It's not a subscription and doesn't renew. It's tied to your Apple Account, and you can restore it on your other devices with Restore Purchases. Payment, billing and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. To request a refund, use Apple's "Report a Problem" (reportaproblem.apple.com). If Apple refunds a purchase, Pro features are removed. Prices are shown in the App Store and may vary by region. We may add features to Pro over time; features that are part of Pro when you buy it won't be moved to a separate paid product.
03Check your measurements
CutMath is a calculation tool. We work hard to make it accurate, but you are responsible for checking measurements and results before you cut, build, buy materials or rely on them. Rounded values (such as the "≈ nearest 1/16" mark) and metric conversions are approximations by design. CutMath is not a substitute for professional judgment, building codes, engineering advice or manufacturer instructions.
04Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app or website: no attempts to break, reverse engineer (except where the law allows), overload or interfere with them, and no unlawful use.
05Intellectual property
The CutMath name, logo, app and website content are owned by us. These terms don't give you any rights to them beyond using the app and website as intended.
06Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app and website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
07Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost materials, lost profits, or the cost of rework, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app or website, including errors in calculations. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for CutMath Pro, if any, in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
08Changes
We may update the app, the website and these terms. If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date. Continuing to use the app or website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
09Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your place of residence requires otherwise.
